I have been looking for a coffee shop near my office that could become my regular place. I think I found it- La Colombe. The milk is served in a pitcher, so it’s fresh(and organic) and doesn’t require working a most likely half broken pump thermos. There are a few lids laid out and real spoons to stir the coffee with.  The granite counter top is really nice and the machines looked high end (my mom bought a granite company and now I notice nice granite versus average granite, espresso machines I know little about). When I asked for an Americano the barista said “we make it with 4 shots, is that how you want it?”. Since it’s 4:30 in the afternoon I said 2 would be better. The coffee is good. Maybe I will try the 4 shot Americano tomorrow morning.
