found this baby turtle plus another on the beach in front of the house in cutchogue last weekend. i thought it was a rock then it moved. we kept it captive in a bucket, where i forgot about it until the next day. luckily someone had released them before they died of heatstoke. explaining that to my little cousins would have sucked.
