I just realized this is what I have accomplished in the past 3 days:
Worked for 6.5 hours
Spent $200 at Ikea
Manicure/Pedicure
Lost $2 at recession poker
Got my car cleaned
New duvet
New rug for office
Seem to be running at a deficit
So RIT stuck me with this chick Linda Flores as a dorm roommate freshman year. When the roommate assignment came along I was pretty nervous. I’m an only child, didn’t have many friends in high school and the prospect of sharing a room for the first time in my life, and with a total stranger at that, was daunting. So the piece of paper finally shows up saying I’ll be rooming with Linda...
I feel really lame when I realize I’ve had a (totally mediocre) multiple day long running away message joke with myself. And that I am genuinely entertained. The term creatively frustrated comes to mind.
