to convince myself that my trip to chicago wasn’t completely frivolous, i worked on that architecture portfolio thing i always think about but rarely do.
(by “worked on” i mean i took photos of architecture for a few minutes while walking from where we parked to the museum, and again, a couple hours later on the way out)

Continuing on my duck research, but this time on the consumption side of things, I’m brining a duck in a mixture of orange juice, miso paste, garlic and vinegar.

Hot as shit at the pitchfork music festival, brains possibly boiling, Meg and I walked around trying to find the tallest man possible so we could (hopefully subtly) stand in his shadow. The problem was, they rarely stayed in the same place for long, leading Meg to take some initiative.
Meg: “Hey, how would you like to stay here so we can stand in your shadow?”

I’m having a particularly hellish week(and a half) of work at the moment, everyone needs everything this instant then they want revisions an instant later, with about 5 jobs going at once, with no notice. My sanity by the end of tomorrow is not guaranteed.
So I’m thinking, is it unreasonable to add a line to the invoice:
